In September of 2018, the 45 orphans under Nsimbe Simon’s care moved into their newly built
orphanage on 5 acres of land outside of Kampala, Uganda. The children and staff are delighted to be in
their new home, and they are enjoying the benefits of increased space, electricity, and on-site well &
water storage reservoir.

The next steps and current needs of the orphanage include:

  • Build a second dormitory so there are separate houses for boys & girls
  • Build an outside pavilion for eating and outdoor activities
  • Raise a school nearby to provide better education for the orphans and children in the
    community
  •  Establish sustainable food sources through farming and raising livestock
  •  Purchase a lawn mower to properly maintain the property
  • Provide monthly funding to cover the ongoing needs of the children: food, school, clothes, etc.
