Today I want to share a testimony that is one of those “exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think” kind of stories! 1 John 5:14-15 tells us that if pray for God’s goodwill to be done, He will hear us, and the answer will be Yes. He tells us the same thing in 2 Corinthians 1:19-20 where He states that every promise of God is Yes and Amen in Christ. These two passages should highly motivate us to learn God’s goodwill and promises, because if we believe in them, then we can pray accordingly and consistently receive answers to our prayers. Let me say it again: If we want to consistently have our prayers answered, then we should learn & believe the goodwill & promises of God and pray accordingly. How easy is that!
Ephesians 3:20-21 NKJV Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, (21) to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
1 John 5:14-15 NKJV Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (15) And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
2 Corinthians 1:19-20 NKJV For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. (20) For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
Ana is a wonderful lady whom I’ve come to know over the past year and a half through our weekly Dominion Bible Study meetings. She came out of an Old Testament church background, and has come to know & believe in our Father’s goodwill and the full salvation of Jesus Christ. She has experienced an amazing turnaround in her belief system and has tremendous faith-life-fruit as a result of it. Recently her friend Roció in the Canary Islands reached out to Ana for prayer. She was having problems finding a permanent job, and because of this issue she was also having problems paying the house rent. Jesus told us in Matthew 18:19 that if two of us will pray in agreement that whatever we ask for will be done for us by our Father in heaven. Ana and Roció therefore prayed in agreement for Roció to find a good permanent job and also a very nice house with a low monthly rent payment. It was a very simple prayer speaking faith in this manner:
“I declare in the name of Jesus that Roció will find a very nice and permanent job, and also will find a beautiful and very cheap house. Thank you, Jesus, for listening to my prayer, and I know I will have an answer from you, and I will give this as a testimony. Thank you, Jesus, for your mercy and for always listening to my prayers. Amen!”
Three weeks went by and then Roció called Ana to let her know what had happen after they prayed. She said to Ana, “You won’t believe what happened! My landlord donated the house to me! He is now transferring everything to me and is preparing the house paperwork so that the house will be mine!” Then she said, “This is the result of our prayer three weeks ago. Only God could do something like this!”
Amazing!! They didn’t even pray for a free house, yet God has given Roció “exceedingly abundantly above all that she asked for!” This is the first time we have witnessed such profound generosity of an individual giving their house to another person free of charge! God is good! Thank you, Daddy, in the name of Jesus, for fulfilling Roció’s needs and doing so in such a dramatic and over-abundant way!
Ana trusts in God to supply people’s needs because of passages like 3 John 1:2 and Philippians 4:19. These passages tell us that God wants us to prosper in all things, and that He will supply all of our needs through Jesus. Therefore Ana and Roció were able to pray in agreement, believing these passages, and faith brought forth (even beyond) what was hoped for.
3 John 1:2 NKJV Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
Philippians 4:19 NKJV And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Hebrews 11:1 NKJV Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
I encourage you to take the teachings on the goodwill of God on the teaching page of this website, also take Andrew Wommack’s teaching “How to Receive God’s Best,” and add to it the financial testimonies from Andrew Wommack (all of which are on same web page). You will quickly arise in faith to walk in personal victory and to bring victory to the people around you.
God bless you!
Ana & Bobby
